I just got home from Section 3, where I played some ditties. One of which was "Cupid" by Sam Cooke. I would not go as far as branding that track as "obscure", but I will brand it as "infrequent" on the airwaves.
I get home, eat a piece of my veggie burger wrap, and what comes on? CUPID. Then, right after, Free Man in Paris. Two of my favorites.
Not a big D, obviously, its public radio, AM, mind you, and these songs are classic for a reason. But still... when this sort of timing happens, it blows my mind. I often need to sit down and force myself to absorb the obviousness of the situation. I am so weired out right now! Why?????
