Just wanted you to know about my new term. "Kingdom Harmonies". This refers to either a lower third sang an octave higher, or a two part harmony consisting of the first and the fifth. Usually major, but creates a darker, almost medieval effect. I am QUITE partial to these sounds, and use them as often as possible. Examples of this would be anything I have sang on by The Blue Violets (second verse of Diet a prime examp) and nearly anything by Simon and Garfunkle. They had the BEST two part harmonies, because they weren't just boring first and third who cares sounds.
Please keep in mind that my musical terminology is prettttttttty bad. I use to know... But turns out theory ISN'T just like riding a bike.
I had another term but I forget it. Other favorites that no one else understands but me are "the water sound" (basically a chorus pedal with a SUPER fast rate, creating an underwater effect) and colour codes to describe sounds. If you can break this code, we will be good friends.
